After gaining her HNC in fashion design, she began

Always creative, Olga became more and more interested
in creative arts and crafts and after seeing one stroke painting
being demonstrated on QVC decided to give it a try.
As Olga recalls -

Very soon Olga wanted to raise her one stroke skills
to the next level and she attended a 3-day formal one
stroke certification course run by Donna Dewberry herself.
Stroke Certification was both rewarding and enjoyable. It not only
provided the opportunity to watch Donna paint first-hand but also
provided the opportunity to meet and get to know other budding one
stroke tutors in the UK.
As Olga remembers -
'Sitting and painting in a room with
130 other decorative artists under the watchful eye of Donna Dewberry
was quite a nervous occasion. But Donna was wonderful and put everyone
at their ease. And watching Donna paint and talk about one stroke
was truly inspiring.'
one stroke certification, Olga became a qualified One Stroke Certified
Instructor (OSCI) allowing her to teach this wonderful decorative
painting technique to others.
As Olga says -
'I love teaching and I love creative
arts. Becoming involved in one stroke painting has brought my two
loves together. Now I can teach and create at the same time.'
As well as holding regular one stroke
painting classes at her home in Hyde, Greater Manchester, UK, Olga
demonstrates the one stoke painting techniques and sells her work
in the UK and abroad.
